Bryan, Fandango told me today that the movie theater reward is limited to the 5 or 6 movies listed on your reward, instead of any live movie at the partipating theater. Their vip+ rules indicate that rewards can be applied to any movie.
Those movies shown were not the popular ones. I doubt that they have many redemptions on those accordingly.
