Pretty sure you need to print a coupon and bring it into a branch.
I set up an account for my wife in December and she called them yesterday and they told her they don’t do the bonus to online accounts anymore.
Make sure you read the fine print! I got charged for not doing a transaction in a statement cycle. I did, however, get the bonus paid twice, so no harm done.
I received my $75 bonus for 3 Bill Pay transactions within 30 days of meeting that requirement. Now I’m just waiting on the bonus for 10 debit transactions.
Note: their online banking system doesn’t seem to have the ability to initiate external transfers. If you need to electronically transfer money into or out of this account, you’ll have to initiate that from your other bank. They also charge a 50¢ fee for mobile check deposits into this account, in case you had thought to transfer funds that way.
Thank you for letting us know!
Chatted with a representative. They said it’s not a hard pull but that they verify that there is no history of charged off accounts at other institutions (i.e. sounds like Soft Pull via ChexSystems).
