Afterpay Fees

As an Afterpay Customer, you will not be required to pay any additional charges or fees if you complete payments on time. However, if your bank account does not have sufficient funds when the payments are due, your Afterpay account will lock until the payment is completed.

At the same time, there will be a separate maximum late fee of $8 if the payment surpasses 11pm EST the following day. Further, if customers fail to make a payment within seven days, there will be an additional fee.

All Afterpay charges and fees are limited to a maximum of $8 or 25% of the purchase value, whichever is less. IN comparison, other credit card companies charge around 20% interest as a consequence for late payments.
