Yes you can redeem it in increments of $50 (5000 points). Can also choose to redeem for gift cards or merchandise. Some of the gift cards give you a slightly better value than redeeming for cash. For example, a $100 Amazon card is 9600 points.
can you actually get cash for your bonus points with citadel
Your information about the Citadel Bonus Rewards Points promotion is incorrect. Citadel is Community-based credit union, servicing the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, all located in Pennsylvania, US. If you do not live, work, or worship in one of those counties you will not qualify for the promotion. The only other way you can qualify for membership outside of the location requirements is to have an immediate family member who is already a member of Citadel Federal Credit Union.
You must also pass a ChexSystems review to be able to open an account. If it is found that you owe funds to another institution, you will not be eligible to open an account at Citadel.
You are not eligible for the promotion if you are a current Citadel checking account member, a joint owner on a current Citadel checking account, or if you have closed a checking account within the past 12 months.
If you meet the above eligibility requirements and open a checking account at Citadel, you must deposit $50 into the checking account at the time of opening, complete the three signature-based transactions with your debit card (pressing credit instead of debit at the register) within the first 30 days of the account being opened, and contact Citadel at (877) 780-1615 or visit a branch to request your 25,000 Bonus Rewards Points ($250 value).
If you’ve met the requirements, your Reward Points will be awarded in 60 days from the date they were ordered, not 30.
