The greater we had was terrible. I am on a walker & I asked foraplace up front & she put usclear in the back. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want trouble. But our lady that weighted on us was great. She made up for the other one. I would like to get a diners card. Please. Thank you
I use Outback Steakhouse Rewards whenever I have a bill over $20. (sometimes I don’t when I dine alone, and have no alcoholic beverages). But when I DO spend over $20 and give my phone number, I have never failed to have the visit credited. Perhaps it depends on the location- I go mostly to Hanover, MA Outback, and find the service, food, and friendliness EXCELLENT! I am very pleased with the rewards program. I visit at least 2-3 times a month, and have never been less than pleased (when ordering steak!).
I have had the same experience. I have gone 5 times to Outback from October 2018 to the end of January 2019. I give my phone number to the waiter and so far zero credits. I spent over $20 each time. After seeing I did not receive any credits, I submitted the receipts. According to the website, this can take up to 14 business days. I have waited a month, and still zero credits. I finally called Dine Rewards and then they gave me an email to send the receipts. Guess what? By now, the time limit to turn in receipts for most of my visits has expired. I received one credit for all my trouble. I agree with bob “seems like a lot of hoops and loops to jump through.”
When it works, it’s good. However, sometimes the wait person forgets to put it in, and although you provide a PDF of the receipt for the visit to the Outback, Dine Rewards might not credit you for it. In that case it doesn’t work very well at all. I had a visit to the Outback on 7/9/18 which was not entered in the system. I sent them a PDF of the receipt that Jordon from the Outback forgot to enter, but it hasn’t been updated. I had another visit to the Outback last night and Anthony did put in last night’s visit and it shows up on my account.
Sue walker we just spent 39.46 in outback
Perhaps you folks should familiarize yourselves with the details of the dinerewards program, prior to complaining about it. It is fairly simple, and straightforward. You do need to provide, and use your phone number to record, and track your visits. Doing so, you should have no real problems utilizing the program and enjoying the rewards. Also, the rewards are 50%, of up to $40, or $20, at Outback steakhouse, and $40, or up to 50% of $80, at Flemings Prime Steakhouse, as I understand it here in California. I’m not certain about the Bonefish Grill, or Carrabas Italian Grill rewards rates, as I don’t believe we have those in our area. In any case, should you you have any questions, ask your server! They are very well informed and helpful in my experience. And by the way, Longhorn or Olive Garden are in no way comparable to these fine establishments!
This dine rewards program is the best ever – my husband and I eat at these restaurants religiously and take advantage of the $20 off all the time. Just make sure that you mention that you are a rewards member and give your phone number to the wait staff so they can properly apply the rewards.
Join the reward program via this link and get $5 free on your first qualified visit.
Bonefish in Merritt Island, FLorida is running the biggest SCAM out there! We have visited this location five times, given our phone number each time, and NEVER received any such discount.
When we went last night, paying over $100.00, we were told that the program no longer allows such discounts.
Diners beware – do NOT patronize this scamnest!
My husband and I joined the outback dine rewards program, and the first night “qualified” to be counted toward some $ off. That night, we didn’t get anything off, though. The second time, my husband and I had a $72.00 bill and paid by cash. When I went online to put in the slip, they said it didn’t qualify. I tried to ask why and I think it was because the WAITRESS NEGLECTED TO ASK US FOR OUR PHONE NUMBER!!! So, we still only have credit for one visit. I tried to explain that she didn’t ask for our phone number, and we didn’t know we had to give it to her, before she brings the check. His sarcastic response was, “One down, and three to go!” MY RESPONSE TO OUTBACK IS THAT LONGHORN IS ONLY A FEW DOORS DOWN, so we’re taking our business elsewhere.
Take that Outback….We were great customers of yours until we found out how you treat your customers.
have had 5 visits to Bonefish, Outback and Carrabbas combined in last 2 months. First I was advised first visit didn’t count, second visit didn’t show, third vistit “qualified” and is on account, fourth visit still pending [sent an e-mail, no reply yet] and fifth visit still has not shown up in over 2 weeks [another e-mail going today]. I have a Shell Fuel Rewards Card and their info shows up on my account within minutes of being used. Dine Rewards seems like a lot of hoops and loops to jump through in order to get any credit. Longhorn and Olive Garden here we come!!
This has got to be the biggest scam going. The 50% is in large type and then the tiny type says “up to $40.00” only. 6-8 trips to Bonefish and I have yet to get even up to $40.00 off when my bill was over $80-90 without the drinks. These people seem to keep coming up with excuses to not compensate you properly. Got an email from them that I was to get another 50% off. I go to Bonefish today and an $86 bill. I got a lousy $20.00 off. Not even the $40.00. It’s not worth the hassle with these clowns. I will be contacting them to delete my account. I should file a complaint with the Attorney General for the state I live in.
went to outback in mason ohio on dec.28 2016, paid 21.00 for a prime rib dinner just to qualify for the diners reward, and was told my the manager that my vistit didn’t qualify because i paid with a 50.00 gift card. really, where does it say that? so, you should know that you can’t pay with a gift card and recieve credit for a qualified rewards vist. what a rip…
the program dine rewards failed to be honored so beware
