How To Earn Bonus

HOW TO EARN BONUSFINE PRINT

Open a new DECU checking account (subject to approval);
Enroll in eStatements; and
Have your direct deposits totaling at least $500/month made into this account within 60 calendar days of the checking account opening date.

Offer available to members in good standing.
You can receive only one new checking account opening related bonus every two years from the last bonus enrollment date and only one bonus per account.
Bonus offer is good for one-time use.
To receive the bonus: 1) Open a new DECU checking account (subject to approval); 2) Enroll in eStatements; and 3) Have your direct deposits totaling at least $500/month made into this account within 60 calendar days of the checking account opening date.
After you have completed all the above requirements and the qualifying direct deposits have posted to your account, DECU will deposit the bonus into your new account within 60 days.
To receive this bonus, the enrolled account must not be closed, negative or restricted at the time of payout.
No minimum balance required to earn bonus; only $20 required to open a checking and $5 to open a share savings to become a member.
Bonus is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).
Account Closing: If the checking account is closed by the customer or DECU within six months after coupon enrollment, we will deduct the bonus amount at closing.
Simple Checking does not pay an annual percentage yield; Secure Checking earns a 0.05% annual percentage yield and may change at any time.
