Have you or someone you know resided at one of Emeritus’ assisted living facilities in California between 7/29/2009 and 5/15/2015? If so, then you may be entitled to a cash payment from the Emeritus Assisted Living Class Action Lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, Emeritus made misleading statements about its computerized resident evaluation system and its role in providing sufficient staffing and care for residents, resulting in the plaintiffs paying more for additional services they did not receive under their contractual arrangements with the company. Emeritus denies the allegations but has decided to settle the case to avoid further legal fees. If you are an eligible class member, you should automatically receive your payment.
