Almost a thousand people read my blog everyday. I know there are many many tips and money making strategies that I don’t know. I would really appreciate if you could share with me and my readers. Please write a paragraph or so, something that make or save money to hustlermoneyblog@gmail.com. Here’s a great example from a longtime reader about getting Sprint Airave for free.
From Pennyfan87:
Sprint just released the Airave. It’s a little box that plugs into your home’s broadband. The box acts like a mini cell tower. If you get poor reception at home, this will give you full bars.
The Airave normally costs $99, and then $5/mo. Here’s how to get it for free.
1. Call retentions/account services.
2. Ask them if you can get out of the ETF if you don’t get service in your home.
3. They will now offer you the Airave for free. If they don’t, ask for it.
4. Ask them how much it will cost. Confirm that the $5/mo will also be waived.
5. You should get your Airave in a couple of days.
This worked for me on August 12th, before the Airave was available to the general public.
Now that I get service at home, I canceled my Verizon land line and saved $30 a month.
If you pay them an extra $10/mo, you get unlimited minutes on a your line when you’re in range of the Airave. An extra $20/mo gets you unlimited minutes on all the lines on your account. Otherwise, minutes are deducted from your regular plan.
Business No Annual Fee Credit Cards with Cash Back and 12 Months 0% APR on Purchases:
Whether you have a home-based business or that you have sold something on Ebay, you can apply for a business credit card. You can put your name as the business name and your social security number as the tax id. Your business is called sole proprietorship and it’s perfectly legal with the IRS.
Thanks for posting this! I called for it last night using the excuse that I am thinking of switching my contract because I don’t get good reception at my house. It was a slightly more involved conversation than what is indicated above, but they ultimately agreed to send me the Airave free and waive the monthly charge. The only caveat was that if I discontinued service I would have to send it back or I’d get charged.
They also came right out and said that they could do things like waive the data plan charge and get me a new phone if I re-upped, however I played it cool in hopes of working it a few more times for the other freebies. =)
