The settlement will benefit anyone who fits into three subclasses detailed below. You may be eligible for a potential award from the HHDC Security Deposit Class Action Lawsuit!
According to the class action, HHDC failed to pay interest on security deposits, failed to disclose in lease agreements at what financial institution the money was being held, and failed to provide the Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance (RLTO) summary and security deposit law summary upon lease and renewal. So if you are eligible, file a claim by June 3, 2021 to receive your potential award!
