Style
The hotel is made up of the combination of three different historical buildings, a neo-Gothic bank, a 1913 Classical Revival structure and a 1911 Salvation Army. The marble floors, glass elevators, vibrantly-colored mohair and leather chairs were designed by Adam D. Tihany.
The artwork from nationally and internationally-recognized artists displayed throughout the hotel gives The Joule a sophisticated and luxurious vibe, similar to an art gallery.
Rooms
The Joule consists of 160 rooms and suites designed with contemporary furniture, hand-picked art, photographs and books, Sferra linens, Frette robes, Bose bluetooth radios and HDTVs with Apple TV.
The 600-square-foot Premier King Room is designed with oversized windows, a spacious bathroom with rainfall showers, dual vanity, lighted mirrors and spa amenities. Also included is complimentary high-speed WiFi, weekday newspapers and area car service.
Facilities
The 8,000-square-foot subterranean spa is like a getaway from the busy part of the city, introducing relaxing methods of European geothermal heat experiences, a vitality pool, glass-walled sauna, crystal steam room and ice fountain. The 3,600-square-foot space 24-hour fitness center features state-of-the-art Excite Line and Precor aerobic equipment.
On the seventh-floor is a rooftop deck where a glass-fronted pool overhangs eight feet beyond the hotel structure. Not only that, the Taschen Library offers art books and three retail boutiques.
Food & Drink
CBD Provisions provides a combination of Texas culinary traditions with local and sustainable sourcing. The bar at CBD offered an wide range selection of local craft beers, as well as updated cocktail classics and wines from small producers in Texas, California and France.
Americano is a casual and vibrant Italian eatery where you can devour some classic comfort foods such as house-made pasta and Neapolitan pizza. There is an outdoor patio where you can enjoy the foods while watching the busy people of Dallas.
Mirador offered modern American cuisine, above the Forty Five Ten boutique, like tomato soup, whipped ricotta toast, chicken paillard and farro bowl. If you are thirsty, they also offer a unique wine and cocktail list. The 11-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound terrace offers breathtaking views of downtown Dallas.
The Midnight Rambler and The Lobby Bar were a hit if you want to party the night away, while Weekend served up coffee beverages and mouthwatering gourmet pastries. If you are looking for some afternoon tea, pay a visit to the Taschen Library.
Service
The service at The Joule was great and had to be noted. Not only were staff highly trained, but they are welcoming and personable. The helpful concierge provides you with restaurant recommendations, event tickets and organizes house cars.

The Joule resides in the heart of downtown Dallas. This property next to the largest Neiman Marcus store and the Arts District. The Majestic Theatre, American Airlines Arena, Reunion Tower, Convention Center and other attractions can be found within blocks of the hotel.
