Style

The Moran CITYCENTRE has an ultra modern appeal to their design characterized mostly by clean, white and shining designs. The elegant lobby featured wide windows, custom graphite-colored ceramic floors and Murano glass chandeliers. The outdoor balcony was an added bonus, creating an airy feel to the open lobby space.

Rooms

All of the 244 rooms and suites at the Moran CITYCENTRE is European-inspired in design and boast floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the CITYCENTRE. Each room also comes with a clean ambiance with hardwood floors, leather-like backboards and walls sporting tasteful, simple patterns.

The Premium King Room has a custom-designed bed dressed sumptuously in Egyptian cotton linens and goose down foam pillows. The white marble bathroom was furnished with an oversized walk-in shower and indulgent Lather toiletries.

Facilities

The Moran has extensive meeting and event space, including two elegant VIP boardrooms, a fireside VIP lounge that accommodates up to 50 guests and a ballroom. An outdoor pool with three curtained cabanas overlooking CITYCENTRE’s central plaza and a fitness room round out the hotel’s amenities.

Food & Drink

One of the star’s of this hotel is their amazing Italian restaurant, Radio Milano. It’s quite a large restaurant as it occupies the property’s first two floors. The street level is their Milano Bar that provides indoor and patio seating, craft cocktails, light bites and popular mixology events. However, going upstairs, you will experience the main dining room that offers farm-to-table Mediterranean fare for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, as well as a by-reservation high tea service.

Located on the second floor of The Moran, Fireside was a European-inspired bar by the pool where we indulged in specialty wines, cocktails and light fare.

Service

Service was top-notch with 24-hour in-room dining, complimentary newspapers, same-day laundry service, doormen and bellmen. Free shuttles were also available within a five-mile radius.

Location

The Moran lies in the dynamic Memorial City District, just steps from CITYCENTRE near shops, dining and entertainment. The West Houston retail area has a bustling downtown feel, particularly at night and on the weekends.
