The JW Marriott next door gives you more restaurant and bar options, as well as further out within the L.A. Live Center complex.
Service
The service at the Ritz-Carlton is friendly and professional. Concierge is very helpful in assisting guests with their needs. Upon arrival guests are given a map to help them find their room and locate hotel facilities but besides this the service was more laidback and less hands on. Overall the service is good but nothing exceptional.
Location
The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles lies in the middle of Downtown L.A., attached to the JW Marriott in the L.A. Live Center, a gigantic restaurant and entertainment complex.
The area is far from most of the city’s attractions, but if you’re going to the Staples Center for a sporting event, the Nokia Theater for a concert, or to the Convention Center for a business meeting, then the location is perfect.
