The upper parts of Rothy’s shoes are made from 100% post-consumer plastic water bottles, which are washed, sterilized and fused into a fiber which is then knitted into yarn. Recycled foam make up the removable insoles, and the rubber soles are either carbon-free or vegan leather. The adhesives they use are non-toxic and vegan, and the packaging is biodegradable and made from post-consumer recycled materials.

Rothy’s shoes have a seamless construction, meaning there are no uncomfortably hard edges. They’re extremely light and flexible, with moisture-wicking to combat sweat and rain. Plus, they’re machine-washable.
