How To Shop at Costco Without a Membership:
- Ask friends with membership to buy you the Costco Cash card(online or at the store).
- Go to store and show Costco cash card to get in at the door. (You could also tell them you are going the pharmacy).
- Non-members may use the cash cards to shop at any Costco location in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and online at Costco.com.
- When you go to pay, you pay first with your gift card but any remaining balance must be paid with cash or debit (no American Express).

Hu$tler..
Dont give a damn what Amanda or Scott has to say here….they are on this website and are still complaining which tells me they dont have a life….He might have already saved 1000’s from your other posts but wont have any costco membership paying friend to take advantage of this one…..and I am 100% sure he might be doing this card trick on all of his partners……
Amanda Lynn Case aka Scott,
You are fcking sad for using a different name and try to win sympathy. How do I know? It’s the same damn I.P address!!
I don’t know…I think Scott is right. It is obviously never a good idea to mooch of your friends (that have invested in a Costco membership) just to be able to buy the Costco gift cards through their membership. Much cheaper (long-term) to purchase a membership and enjoy the savings year round and…respect your friends…rather than using them, therefore, valuing the relationships for their intended purpose.
You ought not have this site if you can’t take criticism of your posts. Way to go Scott!!
Cheap? maybe frugal? I don’t know man…that’s your opinion. One could argue it’s street smart. Maybe you have tons of money and you don’t need to do this..congrats..good for you. If you have an issue with this, then move on to another blog dude..cuz that’s the advice I’ve been giving out for years.
For your greeting card advice, now you are just being a troll and a douche. This is the end of this conversation.
Of course no laws are broken. Still, it’s a cheap scape that would think to do this.
Here’s one for you…next time you need to buy a greeting card for your partner, take him or her to the store, show them the card on the rack, tell them the message is from you to them, then put the card back in the rack and walk out. Cheapscape. No scruples. Nothing illegal.
Hey Scott,
Don’t give a $hit bro…you do or you don’t, i couldn’t care less. Ain’t nobody breaking the laws, ain’t nobody stealing anything. Damn site is called HustlerMoneyBlog, go preach somewhere else.
I can’t imagine someone being such a cheapscape as to take advantage of the low prices that Costco offers by using a friend’s membership card. Have you no scruples?
