Sincera Reproductive Medicine agreed to a $1.2 million settlement to resolve claims it failed to prevent a 2020 data breach.
In May 2021, Sincera revealed its clients’ information may have been compromised in the 2020 data breach. According to a class action lawsuit against the healthcare company, Sincera failed to take reasonable action to prevent a data breach.
Sincera Reproductive Medicine, previously known as Abington Reproductive Medicine, is a fertility clinic with four locations in Pennsylvania.
Sincera hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.2 million settlement to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit.
