About Sonny’s BBQ
Sonny’s BBQ started out as Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q in 1968 by Floyd “Sonny” Tillman and his wife, Lucille, in Gainesville, Florida. 9 years later, the company began to franchise and by 1988, the company had over 70 locations across the southeastern region of the United States. In 2013, the company changed their name to Sonny’s BBQ.
