AC2T agreed to pay $3.6 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming that its Spartan Mosquito Eradicator and Pro Tech products were falsely advertised as able to “eradicate” mosquitoes.
AC2T’s Spartan Mosquito products allegedly promised to “eradicate” mosquitoes for up to 90 days and kill the pests for up to 30 days. Plaintiffs in the false advertising class action lawsuit argue that there was no evidence to back up these claims.
Spartan Mosquito Pro products are manufactured by AC2T.
AC2T hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $3.6 million settlement to resolve the false advertising class action lawsuit.
