March is a busy time in Death Valley. The temperatures start to get up into the 80’s, while the nights stay in the 50’s. Since this destination is 200 feet below sea level – the lowest place in North America – the climate is pretty extreme throughout the year with highs close to 120 degrees and lows near freezing.
Late in the month of march is when the region’s wildflowers start popping up, depending n how winter weather permits.
