Smart Choice Plus Banking
This account requires a $100 minimum deposit when you open this account. This account aims to be an everyday checking account, but still earns interest! However, note that there is a $7 monthly maintenance fee.
Smart Choice Banking
This account requires a $50 minimum opening deposit. Unfortunately, this account in non-interest bearing and it has a maintenance fee of $7 a month. However, this can be waived by 10 debit card transactions, a direct deposit of $100 or more per statement cycle, or an average balance of $1,000.
eBanking
This is an online alternative in case you don’t live in a state with a physical branch. Deposits and withdrawals can only be done electronically or through ATMs. This account also required a $50 minimum deposit, but does not have a monthly maintenance fee.
Squad Student Banking
This student account can be opened with a $50 deposit. It’s a non-interest bearing account, but also has no maintenance fee. You also get unlimited withdrawals and deposits every month.

Froogle Savings
This account requires a $5 deposit to open. No monthly balance is required either, so if you ever have to withdraw money from this account, you won’t have to worry about paying any fees. This account is interest bearing, but cannot be used as an overdraft protection account.
Money Market Savings
The money market savings account requires a $100 deposit in order to open. A monthly balance of $1,000 must be maintained in order to avoid the $10 monthly service charge. This account yields higher interest rates than those account above.
HighYield Money Market Savings
As the name suggests, this account yields higher interest rates. However, a minimum deposit of $10,000 is required to open this account. In addition, $10,000 must be maintained in the account in order to avoid the $15 monthly service charge. This account can also be used as an overdraft protection account.
CDs
Their CD rates vary greatly, but all require a minimum amount of at least $1,000 in order to open.
The length can range from 30 days to 5 years.
Interest is calculated on a 365-day basis at a rate determined by the term. Interest may be paid to the customer or added back to the certificate using varying methods according to the size of the CD and maturity.
