MyPoints does not honor the terms of this promotion. You may get the initial sign-up bonus, but if you make an eligible purchase for the additional 1,000 United miles, they won’t award them. Contacting MyPoints support, they simply stall and ask for information you’ve already provided — blatant stonewalling.
You can look elsewhere and find that others have experienced this same problem. I’d urge you to, at the very least, warn your readers about this.
