Just denied and same story … can’t provide any info whatsoever on possible reasons accounts don’t open, refuse to do normal manual KYC of any type to verify any perceived inconsistencies, etc. HORRIBLE BANK! STAY AWAY, you’ve been warned!
Filled out the entire application. At the end of the process, a message comes up that states they can not complete the process online and to call customer service. Just got off the phone with them and they read a script “unfortunately we are not able to open an account for you at this time.” AND THAT IS ALL THEY WOULD SAY ABOUT IT! No information as to why! SO they have all my information to sell or give to whoever they want and DIDN’T approve my account. AND I have no way of telling them NOT to give away or sell my information. THAT IS SHADY! I was going to deposit a sizable amount of funds with them. Their loss!
Picky,picky bank.
Thank you for providing us with the update!
To help fill in your table above, VIO currently has a Max $2000 per day, $6000 per month. ACH transactions take 2-5 days. These limits are a total joke for an “online bank”. Luckily, there is not limits on and external pull/push. Way better rates from better banks with higher ACH limits. Unless your moving around nickels, I would not waste your time on this bank from my experiences with them.
As of today Vio is holding $40,000 of my money hostage and I have to pay $30 to w/d it.
I was able to put $60,000 into the account and thought I’d make more $. Then I realized that I could only link ONE checking account. I used TD. TD has a policy of only using an ACH transfer up to $10,000/month. So I called VIO and they confirmed my only choice (they will not send you a check) is to WIRE IT to TD. That will cost $15. at TD (in) and $18.00 at Vio OUT).
Also, if you request a wire – you must have form notarized and then wait 72 hours.
The agreement mentions bill pay option but that is only for checking accounts – and (guess what?) Vio doesn’t offer checking accounts!
As someone pointed out, My Savings Direct has a higher rate and no restrictions on SIZE of Deposits OR withdrawals. Just the 6 ACHs a month W/d which is fed rules.
The hold time on deposits is 10 days & counting ?????????. Way to long
