The odds decrease substantially for any amount over $10,000 in your account. Above that amount you get a ticket for each $150 (instead of for each $25) you have in the account. Still seems like an average APY of around 2% for that first 10k, I’m hoping I beat those odds! My referral is KAREN941 if anyone would like to use it.
If you cover every yotta ball (which is easy to do with the Lucky Tickets option they now have) you can get a guaranteed MINIMUM APY of effectively 0.50%. Meaning depositing $1575, for 63 tickets (even better if you get Gold or Platinum status).
That APY is okay, compared to other banks. BUT! The odds many other people have calculated are a lot higher than that. I’ve personally gotten 7% already in just 3 months. I cover every yotta ball for the sake of a guaranteed return, but the odds are you might get 10 cents one week, 15 or even 60 cents another week, beating the minimum APY you would get.

Yotta seemed suspicious to me at first so I had to do a lot of research before signing up. Well, my research leaves me to conclude that this is totally legit and a great opportunity!
In the past I’ve had HYS accounts at around 2% APR, but that has changed with the feds tightening money. My best HYS accounts now give 0.6% APR… enter Yotta. Although on paper their APR is low, they’ve “gamified” their approach, and it results in an effective 1.8-2% APR. Incredible!! This is likely only offered because they’re still new and hoping to reach new members… my hunch is this number will change in time. But you can always move your money to another HYS when that happens. In the meantime, totally take advantage of this!!
